IG Markets is pleased to announce the arrival of live AMEX share prices on our PureDeal and L2 platforms.

While AMEX (American Stock Exchange) shares, including the popular SPDR ETFs, have always been available for phone-dealing with IG Markets, clients now have the convenience of trading AMEX shares online.

This follows the acquisition of AMEX by NYSE Euronext, with whom we already have an agreement to provide live online prices on NYSE stocks. We offer a wide range of AMEX shares and for a full list please see our Shares and ETFs pages.

Accessing live AMEX prices

Like all live share prices, you are required to activate the relevant Data Feed in the 'My Account' section of PureDeal, before you can access AMEX shares.

To do this, simply click 'My Account' and select 'Data Feeds' to call up the list of available feeds you may choose to activate or deactivate. There is a small charge for each Data Feed you activate, which is rebated every month provided you place a nominal number of trades. Full details available in 'Data Feeds' in PureDeal.

The monthly fee for live AMEX prices is just US$1, which you get back for placing one trade a month.

Please note: the AMEX is part of the NYSE, so if you have already activated the NYSE feed, you already have access to live AMEX prices.
