Dark liquidity pools
L2 Dealer lets you access off-book activity and take advantage of substantial dark liquidity pools, which could further improve the price at which you trade.
As with MTF trading, our smartorder router sources and delivers the best available price.
Price improvement
Consider that a significant amount of FTSE 100 liquidity passes through venues other than the London Stock Exchange, and it’s clear how assessing alternative exchanges could reveal substantially better prices.
Even a partial dark pool fill could represent a significant saving, while MTF fills create smaller, more common price improvements.
L2 efficiency
Built to help the DMA trader eliminate wasted clicks, the quick-trade tools in our L2 Dealer ensure no re-quotes or dealer-referred tickets. Your trades immediately hit the markets direct.
For example, with our ladder dealing tool you drag and drop trades straight into the order book at the depth you want, up and down to amend their level, or off the ladder to delete the order altogether.
You can also attach news feeds and live charts to the main viewing window. These changes will remain applied even if you select another market; the linked windows switch with you.
L2 power
Our iceberg facility lets you break large SETS orders into smaller tranches, hiding the size of your order from the market to prevent it from unduly influencing the book price.
For an edge in auctions and other time-sensitive trades, we provide a handy, excel-compatible 'Watchlist Pro' feature: prepare a number of individual positions in advance, either in the dealer or elsewhere, then release them all simultaneously with a single click.
