To start using L2 Dealer, you need to have a CFD trading account, read the L2 trading manual and register with us.

If you don’t yet have an account with us, you can submit an application to create an account with IG now.

You should read the L2 trading manual for an outline of how L2 Dealer works and the risks involved.

PDFs require Adobe Reader, which is available free from Adobe.

Register for L2 Dealer

You will receive your L2 username and password via email, after which you can install the L2 Dealer software.

L2 Installation

Please use the link below to install L2 Dealer. If you have any questions about the installation, please contact us and we will be pleased to help.

Before starting, please ensure that you have registered for L2. Without this agreement from you, we cannot allow you to trade with the platform.

Please click on the 'Install L2 Dealer' link below. You can either open the file directly, or save it locally and then run it. In either case the .exe file will install a copy of the L2 platform on your PC. Once you have installed the application, you can log in with your usual details.

Microsoft .NET framework

L2 requires that you have the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your PC. The L2 installation will automatically check for this, and will prompt you if required.

Alternatively you can go to the Windows Update homepage (accessed from your Start menu or at Windows Update) and go to the optional updates and select .NET from the options there.
