DMA Trading
Direct market access (DMA) trading allows you to view market depth, and trade directly into the forex order book and the order book of global equity exchanges.
The benefits of DMA
When trading CFDs over-the-counter – also known as OTC, or level one – you can only view the current bid/offer spread of a market, derived from the relevant international equities exchange.
DMA – also known as level two, or L2 – trading presents the exchanges’ pricing data in far more detail. As you’re able to view the liquidity in the market and place orders at any level, you’re potentially better placed to mitigate any market spread.
You’re also able to place orders during popular trading times such as pre- and post-trading auctions, when the liquidity available may present lower prices.
Our DMA examples page illustrates how level two trading operates.
Cutting-edge DMA platforms
We have two DMA platforms available, to let you benefit fully from the transparency and flexibility of level two trading.
CFDs are leveraged products. CFD trading may not be suitable for everyone and can result in losses that exceed your initial investment, so please ensure that you fully understand the risks involved.
